What is it used for?
Used for short-term relief of pain, inflammation and fever, such as body aches, muscle or joint pain, dental pain, or pain after minor injuries.

How does it work?
Nimesulide reduces the substances that cause pain and inflammation. Paracetamol helps reduce pain and fever.

How to take/use it
Take only as prescribed by a doctor, preferably after food, and swallow with water. Do not take more than prescribed or use it for longer than advised. Do not combine it with other paracetamol-containing medicines or additional painkillers unless advised by a doctor.

Common side effects
Nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, indigestion, diarrhoea, dizziness and skin rash may occur.

Precautions
Avoid this medicine if there is liver disease, severe kidney disease, stomach ulcer or bleeding, or an allergy to its ingredients, unless specifically advised by a doctor. Avoid alcohol and other medicines containing paracetamol. Nimesulide may rarely cause serious liver problems; stop taking it and seek medical help if yellowing of the skin or eyes, dark urine, severe tiredness, persistent nausea or abdominal pain occurs. Tell a doctor if pregnant, breastfeeding, or taking other medicines.
