What is it used for?
Used to relieve acidity, heartburn and acid reflux. It may also help with nausea or vomiting associated with these digestive symptoms.

How does it work?
Pantoprazole reduces the amount of acid produced in the stomach. Domperidone helps food move through the stomach and can reduce nausea and vomiting.

How to take/use it
Take only as prescribed. Swallow the capsule whole with water; do not crush or chew it. Follow the prescribed timing in relation to meals and do not take more than recommended.

Common side effects
Headache, diarrhoea, nausea, stomach pain, constipation, dizziness or dry mouth.

Precautions
Tell the doctor if there is a history of heart rhythm problems, heart disease, liver disease or low potassium or magnesium levels. Domperidone can rarely cause serious heart rhythm problems, especially with higher doses or certain medicines. Seek medical help for fast or irregular heartbeat, fainting or severe dizziness. Inform the doctor about all medicines being taken, especially antibiotics, antifungals or medicines affecting heart rhythm.
