What is it used for?
Used to relieve cough with phlegm and help ease wheezing or breathing difficulty caused by narrowed airways.
How does it work?
Ambroxol and guaiphenesin help loosen and clear mucus from the airways. Terbutaline relaxes the airway muscles, helping to improve breathing.
How to take/use it
Take it exactly as prescribed by a doctor or pharmacist. Do not take more or more often than advised.
Common side effects
Nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, headache, shakiness, nervousness, or a fast heartbeat may occur.
Precautions
Tell the doctor if there is heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, an overactive thyroid, or a history of seizures. Seek medical help for severe palpitations, chest pain, worsening breathing difficulty, or signs of an allergic reaction. Consult a doctor before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
