Moxytch-Cv 600 (10 Ml) Amoxycillin, Clavulanate 600 Mg By Protech

What is it used for?
This is an antibiotic used to treat certain bacterial infections, such as infections of the ear, sinuses, throat, lungs, skin, urinary tract and teeth, when prescribed by a doctor. It does not work for viral infections such as colds or flu.

How does it work?
Amoxycillin stops bacteria from building their protective cell wall. Clavulanate helps amoxycillin work against bacteria that can otherwise resist it.

How to take/use it
Take it exactly as prescribed by the doctor. Complete the prescribed course, even if symptoms improve, and do not share it with others or use leftover antibiotics. If it is a liquid preparation, shake well before use and measure with an appropriate measuring device.

Common side effects
Diarrhoea, nausea, vomiting, stomach discomfort and skin rash may occur.

Precautions
Do not use if there has been a serious allergy to penicillin, amoxycillin, other beta-lactam antibiotics or cephalosporins. Tell the doctor about liver or kidney problems and any previous antibiotic-related jaundice or liver problems. Seek medical help for breathing difficulty, facial swelling, a severe rash, or severe or persistent diarrhoea. Use only on medical advice, especially during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
