What is it used for?
Used to treat bacterial infections of the eye when inflammation is also present. It should be used only when prescribed by a doctor.

How does it work?
Moxifloxacin is an antibiotic that kills susceptible bacteria. Dexamethasone reduces inflammation, redness and swelling in the eye.

How to take/use it
Use in the eye exactly as prescribed. Wash hands before use, avoid touching the dropper tip to the eye or any surface, and do not share the medicine. Do not wear contact lenses during treatment unless advised by a doctor.

Common side effects
Temporary burning or stinging, eye irritation, blurred vision or dryness may occur after use.

Precautions
Do not use for an untreated viral or fungal eye infection unless specifically advised. Prolonged or repeated use of the steroid component may increase eye pressure, delay healing or allow other infections to develop. Seek medical advice if eye pain, worsening redness, vision changes, severe irritation or an allergic reaction occurs.
