Moxitech L (5 ml) Moxifloxacin + Lotepredinol Eyedrops by Csc

What is it used for?
Used to treat bacterial eye infections accompanied by redness, swelling or inflammation. It may also be prescribed after eye surgery to help control inflammation and prevent or treat infection.

How does it work?
Moxifloxacin stops the growth of susceptible bacteria. Loteprednol is a corticosteroid that reduces inflammation in the eye.

How to take/use it
Use only as prescribed by the doctor. Wash hands before use, avoid touching the dropper tip to the eye or other surfaces, and do not wear contact lenses unless advised. If using other eye medicines, use them as directed and leave an appropriate gap between products.

Common side effects
Temporary burning or stinging, eye irritation, blurred vision, watery eyes, itching or discomfort may occur. Contact an eye doctor if these are severe or do not improve.

Precautions
Use under medical supervision, especially if treatment is prolonged. Corticosteroid-containing eye drops can increase eye pressure, delay healing or worsen some eye infections. Do not use for an untreated viral or fungal eye infection unless specifically advised. Seek medical advice for worsening pain, redness, swelling, vision changes or signs of an allergic reaction.
