What is it used for?
This eye medicine is used to treat bacterial eye infections and reduce associated eye pain and inflammation. It may also be prescribed after eye surgery to help prevent infection and control inflammation.

How does it work?
Moxifloxacin is an antibiotic that stops the growth of bacteria. Ketorolac is an anti-inflammatory medicine that reduces substances responsible for pain, redness and swelling.

How to take/use it
Use in the affected eye(s) exactly as prescribed by the eye specialist. Wash hands before use, avoid touching the dropper tip to the eye or any surface, and close the bottle after use. Do not wear contact lenses unless specifically advised. If vision is blurred after application, avoid driving until vision clears.

Common side effects
Temporary stinging or burning, eye irritation, redness, watery eyes, discomfort, itching or blurred vision may occur.

Precautions
Do not use if allergic to moxifloxacin, ketorolac, other quinolone antibiotics or NSAID medicines. Use only under medical supervision, especially after eye surgery or if there is a corneal problem. Seek medical help for severe or worsening eye pain, marked redness, swelling, rash, breathing difficulty, reduced vision or persistent irritation. Do not use longer than prescribed.
