Moxitech D (5 ml) Moxifloxacin + Dexamethasone Eyedrops by Csc

What is it used for?
Used to treat certain bacterial eye infections that are accompanied by inflammation, when prescribed by an eye specialist. It may also be prescribed after eye procedures when both infection and inflammation need treatment.

How does it work?
Moxifloxacin is an antibiotic that stops the growth of bacteria. Dexamethasone is a corticosteroid that reduces swelling, redness and inflammation in the eye.

How to take/use it
Use in the affected eye(s) exactly as prescribed by the doctor. Wash hands before use and do not let the dropper tip touch the eye or any surface. Use it for the prescribed duration and do not share the bottle. If using other eye medicines, ask the doctor or pharmacist about the correct order and timing.

Common side effects
Temporary burning or stinging, blurred vision, eye irritation, dryness, redness or discomfort may occur after application.

Precautions
Use only under medical supervision, as the steroid component can increase eye pressure, delay healing or increase the risk of cataracts with prolonged use. It may be unsuitable for some viral or fungal eye infections unless specifically prescribed. Contact an eye doctor promptly for worsening pain, vision changes, severe redness, swelling or an allergic reaction. Contact lens wearers should follow their doctor’s advice during treatment.
