Montudol LC (30ml) Montelukast + Levocetirizine Syrup by Csc

What is it used for?
Used to relieve symptoms of allergies such as sneezing, runny or blocked nose, itchy nose, and watery or itchy eyes. It may also be prescribed as an add-on treatment for asthma, but it does not relieve a sudden asthma attack.

How does it work?
Levocetirizine blocks histamine, a substance that causes allergy symptoms. Montelukast blocks leukotrienes, chemicals involved in allergic inflammation and airway narrowing.

How to take/use it
Take it only as prescribed. Measure the syrup with the supplied measuring device and do not use a household spoon. Shake the bottle well before use. Do not take more than recommended.

Common side effects
Sleepiness, tiredness, headache, dry mouth, stomach pain, nausea, or diarrhoea.

Precautions
Sleepiness may occur; avoid driving or alcohol until the effect is known. Seek medical advice promptly if mood or behaviour changes, disturbing dreams, agitation, depression, or suicidal thoughts occur. This medicine is not a rescue treatment for a sudden asthma attack. Inform the doctor about kidney disease, pregnancy, or breastfeeding, and about other medicines that may cause drowsiness.
