What is it used for?
Used for pattern hair loss (androgenetic alopecia). It may help slow hair thinning and support hair regrowth on the scalp.

How does it work?
Minoxidil helps support the hair-growth phase of the hair cycle. Finasteride lowers the level of dihydrotestosterone (DHT), a hormone involved in pattern hair loss, which may reduce further hair follicle miniaturisation.

How to take/use it
For external use on the scalp only. Apply exactly as directed by the doctor or product label, using it on a clean, dry scalp. Wash hands after application and avoid contact with the eyes, mouth, broken skin and other areas of the body. Do not swallow.

Common side effects
Scalp itching, dryness, redness or irritation; unwanted hair growth on the face or other body areas; headache or dizziness. Finasteride may also cause decreased sexual desire, erection or ejaculation problems, breast tenderness, or mood changes.

Precautions
Do not use on an irritated or infected scalp unless advised by a doctor. Seek medical help for chest pain, fainting, rapid heartbeat, swelling, severe dizziness or a severe allergic reaction. Pregnant or possibly pregnant women should not use this product or handle it if it may contact the skin, because of the finasteride content. Keep away from children and consult a doctor before use if there is heart disease, low blood pressure or sudden or patchy hair loss.
