Metrosalic Lotion (25ml) Clobetasol Propionate 0.05% + Salicylic Acid 2% by Csc

What is it used for?
Used on the skin to reduce redness, swelling, itching and thick, scaly skin in steroid-responsive conditions such as psoriasis, eczema and dermatitis, when prescribed by a doctor.

How does it work?
Clobetasol is a very strong corticosteroid that reduces skin inflammation and itching. Salicylic acid helps soften and remove thick, scaly skin, allowing the medicine to work better.

How to take/use it
For external use only. Apply a thin layer to the affected area exactly as prescribed. Wash hands after applying, unless the hands are being treated. Avoid the eyes, face, groin, underarms and broken or infected skin unless specifically advised. Do not cover the treated area with a tight dressing unless directed by a doctor.

Common side effects
Burning, stinging, irritation, dryness, itching, skin thinning, stretch marks or small bumps around hair follicles may occur at the application site.

Precautions
Clobetasol is a very potent steroid and should not be used on large areas or for longer than prescribed. Avoid prolonged use, especially in children. Do not use on untreated skin infections or near the eyes. Stop and seek medical advice if the condition worsens or signs of infection develop. Consult a doctor before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
