What is it used for?
This topical gel is used for temporary relief of minor muscle and joint aches and pains, including discomfort related to strains, sprains or arthritis.
How does it work?
Menthol produces a cooling sensation that helps reduce the feeling of pain. Capsaicin acts on pain-sensing nerves and may reduce pain signals with repeated use.
How to take/use it
For external use only. Apply a small amount to the affected area as directed on the product label. Wash hands after application, unless the hands are being treated. Do not apply to broken or irritated skin.
Common side effects
Temporary burning, stinging, warmth, redness, itching or skin irritation at the application site.
Precautions
Avoid contact with the eyes, mouth, nose and other sensitive areas. Do not cover tightly or apply with a heating pad. Stop using it and seek medical advice if severe burning, swelling, blistering or an allergic reaction occurs. Keep away from children and avoid inhaling the gel or touching the eyes after application.
