What is it used for?
Used for short-term relief of painful muscle spasms, stiffness and inflammation associated with musculoskeletal conditions such as back pain and other muscle or joint problems.

How does it work?
Aceclofenac reduces the substances that cause pain and inflammation. Thiocolchicoside helps relax tense skeletal muscles and relieve muscle spasm.

How to take/use it
Take only as prescribed, preferably with or after food, and swallow with water. Do not take more than the recommended amount or use it for longer than advised. Avoid driving or operating machinery if dizziness or drowsiness occurs.

Common side effects
Indigestion, stomach pain, nausea, diarrhoea, dizziness, drowsiness and headache.

Precautions
Tell the doctor if there is a history of stomach ulcer or bleeding, kidney or liver disease, heart disease, high blood pressure, asthma triggered by painkillers, seizures, or allergy to painkillers. Avoid taking it with other NSAID painkillers unless advised. It should not be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding unless specifically prescribed. Seek urgent medical help for black stools, vomiting blood, severe stomach pain, breathing difficulty, facial swelling or a severe skin rash.
