Maxofen New Tablets (20x40x15's) Aceclofenac 100 mg, Paracetamol 325 mg Tab by Abbott

What is it used for?
Used to relieve pain and inflammation, especially in muscle, joint and arthritis-related conditions. It may also help reduce fever and general body pain.

How does it work?
Aceclofenac reduces the substances that cause pain and inflammation. Paracetamol helps reduce pain and fever.

How to take/use it
Take only as prescribed, preferably with or after food, and swallow with water. Do not take more than the recommended amount. Avoid taking other medicines containing paracetamol or painkillers such as ibuprofen or diclofenac unless advised by a doctor.

Common side effects
Indigestion, stomach pain, nausea, diarrhoea, dizziness and skin rash may occur.

Precautions
Tell the doctor if there is a history of stomach ulcer or bleeding, kidney or liver disease, heart disease, high blood pressure, asthma triggered by painkillers, or an allergy to painkillers. Avoid excessive alcohol. Do not use during the last 3 months of pregnancy unless specifically advised. Seek urgent medical help for black stools, vomiting blood, severe skin rash, facial swelling or breathing difficulty.
