Maxofen - MR Tablets (48x10x10's) Aceclofenac 100 mg, Paracetamol 325 mg, Chlorzoxazone 250 mg MR Tab by Abbott

What is it used for?
Used for short-term relief of painful musculoskeletal conditions, such as muscle pain, joint pain, inflammation, stiffness and muscle spasms.

How does it work?
Aceclofenac reduces inflammation and pain, while paracetamol helps relieve pain. Chlorzoxazone relaxes painful, tight muscles and helps reduce muscle spasm.

How to take/use it
Take only as prescribed by a doctor. Swallow the modified-release tablet whole with water; do not crush or chew it. Taking it after food may help reduce stomach discomfort. Do not take other medicines containing paracetamol or aceclofenac unless advised by a doctor.

Common side effects
Indigestion, stomach pain, nausea, diarrhoea, dizziness, drowsiness and headache may occur.

Precautions
Avoid alcohol and be careful when driving or operating machinery if dizzy or drowsy. Inform the doctor about stomach ulcers or bleeding, kidney or liver disease, heart problems, high blood pressure, asthma triggered by painkillers, or an allergy to painkillers. Avoid use during pregnancy unless specifically prescribed, particularly during the last three months. Seek medical help for black stools, vomiting blood, severe skin rash, breathing difficulty, yellowing of the skin or eyes, or unusual severe weakness.
