Magicort Cream (20X1X10 Gm) Mometasone Furoate 1 Mg/G Cream By Zuventus

What is it used for?
Mometasone furoate cream is used to reduce redness, swelling and itching caused by inflammatory skin conditions such as eczema, dermatitis and psoriasis.

How does it work?
It is a topical corticosteroid that reduces inflammation and the skin reactions that cause redness and itching.

How to take/use it
Apply a thin layer to the affected skin exactly as directed by a doctor or pharmacist. Use only on the skin. Avoid the eyes, face, groin, underarms and skin folds unless specifically advised. Wash hands after applying, unless the hands are being treated.

Common side effects
Burning, stinging, irritation, dryness or itching at the application site. Prolonged or improper use may cause skin thinning, stretch marks, changes in skin colour or visible small blood vessels.

Precautions
Do not use on untreated skin infections, open wounds or broken skin unless advised by a doctor. Avoid covering the treated area with tight or airtight dressings unless instructed. Stop using it and seek medical advice if the skin condition worsens, signs of infection develop, or there is severe irritation. Avoid prolonged use, especially on the face and in children, unless prescribed.
