What is it used for?
Luliconazole 1% cream is used to treat fungal skin infections such as ringworm, jock itch and athlete’s foot.
How does it work?
It stops the growth of fungi by interfering with the production of an essential part of the fungal cell membrane.
How to take/use it
Apply a thin layer to the affected skin and nearby skin only as directed by a doctor or pharmacist. Wash hands before and after applying it. For external use only; avoid contact with the eyes, mouth and inside of the vagina.
Common side effects
Mild application-site irritation, redness, itching or burning may occur.
Precautions
Do not use if allergic to luliconazole or any ingredient in the cream. Avoid applying it to the eyes, mouth, open wounds or other sensitive areas unless advised by a doctor. Seek medical advice if the infection worsens, causes severe irritation, or does not improve with treatment.
