What is it used for?
Used to relieve symptoms of allergic rhinitis, such as sneezing, runny or blocked nose, itchy nose, and watery or itchy eyes.

How does it work?
Levocetirizine blocks histamine, a chemical that causes allergy symptoms. Montelukast blocks leukotrienes, which can contribute to inflammation and swelling in the airways and nose.

How to take/use it
Take by mouth exactly as prescribed. Do not take more than the recommended amount. It may be taken with or without food unless advised otherwise. This medicine is not intended to provide immediate relief during a sudden asthma attack.

Common side effects
Sleepiness, tiredness, headache, dry mouth, stomach pain, nausea, or diarrhoea may occur.

Precautions
Sleepiness may occur; avoid driving or operating machinery until its effect is known. Stop the medicine and seek medical advice promptly if mood or behaviour changes, nightmares, severe agitation, depression, or thoughts of self-harm occur. Inform the doctor about kidney disease, pregnancy, breastfeeding, or other medicines being used. Do not use it to treat a sudden breathing emergency.
