What is it used for?
Paracetamol 650 mg is used to reduce fever and relieve mild to moderate pain, such as headache, toothache, body aches and muscle pain.
How does it work?
It works mainly in the brain to reduce the production of substances that cause pain and fever.
How to take/use it
Swallow the tablet with water and follow the dose and timing advised by a doctor or stated on the package. Do not take more than the recommended amount or use it with other medicines containing paracetamol.
Common side effects
Side effects are uncommon when used correctly, but may include nausea, stomach discomfort or skin rash.
Precautions
Use only with medical advice if there is liver disease, regular alcohol use or malnutrition. Avoid taking other paracetamol-containing products at the same time. Seek urgent medical help after an overdose or if severe skin rash, breathing difficulty, yellowing of the skin or eyes, or unusual bleeding occurs.
