What is it used for?
Used for the temporary relief of cough associated with cold or allergy symptoms, including a blocked or runny nose, sneezing and throat irritation. It also helps loosen mucus, making it easier to clear.

How does it work?
Dextromethorphan helps reduce the cough reflex, while ambroxol loosens mucus. Chlorpheniramine reduces allergy symptoms, phenylephrine relieves nasal congestion, and menthol provides a soothing sensation.

How to take/use it
Use only as directed on the product label or by a doctor. Measure liquid doses with the supplied measuring device, if applicable, and do not take more than recommended. Avoid taking it with other cough, cold or allergy medicines unless advised by a healthcare professional.

Common side effects
Drowsiness, dizziness, dry mouth, blurred vision, nausea, stomach upset, headache, nervousness or difficulty sleeping. Palpitations or increased blood pressure may occur.

Precautions
Avoid alcohol and driving or operating machinery if drowsy or dizzy. Consult a doctor before use if there is high blood pressure, heart disease, glaucoma, thyroid disease, prostate or urinary problems, or breathing problems. Do not use with monoamine oxidase inhibitors, and check with a doctor before use with antidepressants or other medicines affecting serotonin. Consult a doctor during pregnancy or breastfeeding, and before giving to children. Seek medical advice for a persistent, worsening or bloody cough, breathing difficulty, or fever.
