What is it used for?
This medicine is used for temporary relief of dry cough and common cold symptoms such as a blocked or runny nose, sneezing and nasal congestion.

How does it work?
Dextromethorphan reduces the cough reflex. Chlorpheniramine helps relieve allergy-like symptoms such as sneezing and a runny nose, while phenylephrine reduces nasal congestion.

How to take/use it
Take by mouth exactly as directed on the product label or by a doctor. Use the measuring device provided and do not take more than recommended. Avoid combining it with other cough, cold or allergy medicines unless advised by a doctor or pharmacist.

Common side effects
Drowsiness, dizziness, dry mouth, blurred vision, nausea, headache and restlessness may occur. Some people may experience a fast heartbeat or increased blood pressure.

Precautions
Avoid alcohol and driving or operating machinery if drowsy or dizzy. Ask a doctor before use in children, during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or if there is high blood pressure, heart disease, glaucoma, thyroid disease, prostate or urinary problems. Do not use with monoamine oxidase inhibitor antidepressants or within 14 days of stopping them. Seek medical advice for breathing difficulty, severe symptoms or a cough that persists.
