What is it used for?
Used mainly to treat dandruff and seborrhoeic dermatitis, a condition causing flaky, itchy or irritated skin of the scalp. It may also be used for certain fungal skin infections when prescribed or recommended by a healthcare professional.

How does it work?
Ketoconazole is an antifungal medicine that reduces the growth of fungi on the skin. Zinc pyrithione also helps control fungal growth and reduce flaking.

How to take/use it
For external use only. Apply or use on the affected area exactly as directed on the product label or by a healthcare professional. Avoid contact with the eyes, mouth and other sensitive areas. Wash hands after use.

Common side effects
Mild skin or scalp irritation, itching, burning, dryness or redness may occur.

Precautions
Do not use if allergic to ketoconazole, zinc pyrithione or any ingredient. Avoid applying to broken or severely irritated skin unless advised by a healthcare professional. Rinse well if it gets into the eyes. Stop use and seek medical advice if severe irritation, swelling or a rash develops, or if the condition does not improve.
