What is it used for?
Bacillus clausii spores are probiotic bacteria used to help restore the natural balance of beneficial bacteria in the intestine, especially during or after diarrhoea or antibiotic treatment. They may help reduce loose motions, but oral rehydration remains important during diarrhoea.

How does it work?
It adds beneficial bacteria to the intestine and helps support the normal balance of gut microorganisms.

How to take/use it
Take by mouth exactly as directed on the product label or by a doctor. Do not exceed the recommended amount. If diarrhoea is severe, persistent, or associated with dehydration, seek medical advice.

Common side effects
Usually well tolerated. Gas, bloating, abdominal discomfort, nausea, or temporary changes in bowel movements may occur.

Precautions
Seek medical advice before use if immunocompromised, seriously ill, or using a central venous catheter, as rare bloodstream infections have been reported with probiotic products. Stop use and seek medical help if signs of an allergic reaction occur. This product does not replace oral rehydration during diarrhoea.
