What is it used for?
Used as a moisturiser to relieve dry, rough, chapped or irritated skin.
How does it work?
White soft paraffin and liquid paraffin form a protective layer on the skin that helps reduce water loss. Vitamin E acetate helps support moisturisation of the skin.
How to take/use it
For external use only. Apply a thin layer to clean, dry skin and gently spread. Use as directed on the product label or by a healthcare professional.
Common side effects
Mild skin irritation, redness, itching or rash may occur. The skin may also feel greasy.
Precautions
Avoid contact with the eyes. Stop using it if significant irritation or a rash develops. Paraffin-based products can increase the risk of clothing, dressings and bedding catching fire; keep away from flames and smoking, and wash clothing and fabrics regularly.
