What is it used for?
Used to treat certain parasitic worm infections, including intestinal worm infections. It should be used only when recommended by a doctor or pharmacist.
How does it work?
Albendazole damages the parasite's ability to absorb nutrients, while ivermectin affects the parasite's nerve and muscle activity. Together, they help kill or remove susceptible parasites.
How to take/use it
Take by mouth exactly as prescribed. Do not change the dose, repeat treatment or share this medicine without medical advice. Follow the prescribed instructions regarding food and treatment duration.
Common side effects
Stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, headache and dizziness may occur.
Precautions
