Composition:
Itraconazole 200 mg per capsule.

Uses:
Itraconazole is an antifungal medicine used to treat certain fungal infections of the skin, nails, mouth, vagina, and other parts of the body. The required dose and treatment duration depend on the type and severity of the infection.

How to Use:
Take only as prescribed by your doctor. For conventional itraconazole capsules, take immediately after a full meal with water. Swallow the capsule whole; do not crush or chew it. Complete the prescribed course even if symptoms improve. Do not take a higher dose or extend treatment without medical advice.

Precautions & Warnings:
Inform your doctor if you have heart failure, heart disease, liver or kidney disease, or previous liver problems caused by medicines. Itraconazole has many important drug interactions, so tell your doctor or pharmacist about all medicines and supplements you use. It can rarely cause serious liver injury or worsen heart failure. Seek medical attention for yellowing of the skin or eyes, dark urine, severe fatigue, persistent nausea, shortness of breath, swelling of the legs, or rapid unexplained weight gain.

Possible Side Effects:
Common side effects may include nausea, abdominal discomfort, diarrhoea, headache, dizziness, and abnormal liver-function tests. Rare but serious effects include liver injury, heart failure, severe allergic reactions, and serious skin reactions.

Pregnancy & Breastfeeding:
Tell your doctor if you are pregnant, planning pregnancy, or breastfeeding. Itraconazole should generally be used during pregnancy only when specifically prescribed and when the expected benefit outweighs potential risks.

Storage:
Store at room temperature in a dry place, away from direct sunlight, heat, and moisture. Keep out of reach and sight of children. Do not use after the expiry date.

Important Safety Information:
Itraconazole capsule absorption can be affected by medicines that reduce stomach acidity. Some acid-reducing medicines may therefore need special timing or adjustment.
