What is it used for?
Psyllium husk (Isabgol) is a bulk-forming fibre used to relieve constipation and promote regular bowel movements. It may also help soften stools.

How does it work?

How to take/use it
Mix it with a full glass of water and drink immediately, followed by additional fluids if needed. Use it according to the product label or a healthcare professional’s advice. Do not take it dry.

Common side effects
Gas, bloating, abdominal discomfort or cramps may occur, especially when starting it.

Precautions
Drink adequate fluids to help prevent choking or intestinal blockage. Do not use it if there is difficulty swallowing, suspected intestinal blockage, severe abdominal pain, nausea or vomiting.
