What is it used for?
Used with diet and exercise to help control high blood sugar in adults with type 2 diabetes when prescribed by a doctor.

How does it work?
Glimepiride helps the pancreas release insulin. Metformin reduces glucose production by the liver and improves the body's response to insulin, while voglibose slows carbohydrate breakdown and absorption after meals.

How to take/use it
Take exactly as prescribed by the doctor. It is generally taken with meals to reduce stomach-related side effects and should not be stopped without medical advice. Follow the prescribed diet and monitor blood sugar as advised.

Common side effects
Low blood sugar, nausea, diarrhoea, stomach discomfort, gas and loss of appetite. Seek medical help for severe or persistent symptoms.

Precautions
Use only under medical supervision, especially with kidney or liver problems. Do not skip meals, as this may increase the risk of low blood sugar. Avoid excessive alcohol. Seek urgent medical help for severe weakness, breathing difficulty, persistent vomiting or unusual sleepiness. Tell the doctor about all medicines being taken and before any procedure involving contrast dye.
