What is it used for?
Ceftriaxone with sulbactam is an injectable antibiotic used to treat serious bacterial infections. It does not work against viral infections such as colds or flu.

How does it work?
Ceftriaxone kills susceptible bacteria by preventing them from forming their protective cell wall. Sulbactam helps protect ceftriaxone from enzymes made by some bacteria that can cause antibiotic resistance.

How to take/use it

Common side effects

Precautions
