What is it used for?
Used to relieve symptoms of allergic rhinitis, such as blocked or runny nose, sneezing, and itchy nose. It may help with allergy symptoms caused by pollen, dust, or other allergens.
How does it work?
Fluticasone reduces inflammation inside the nose, while azelastine blocks the effects of histamine, a chemical involved in allergy symptoms.
How to take/use it
Use only in the nose and exactly as prescribed. Follow the product instructions for correct spray technique, and avoid spraying into the eyes or swallowing the medicine. Do not share the nasal spray with others.
Common side effects
Nosebleed, nasal dryness or irritation, sneezing, headache, unpleasant taste, and a bitter taste in the mouth.
Precautions
Tell the doctor about nasal injury, recent nasal surgery, nasal infection, glaucoma, cataracts, or long-term use of steroid medicines. Seek medical advice if there is persistent nose irritation or bleeding, blurred vision, or signs of an allergic reaction. Keep out of reach of children.
