What is it used for?
Used for temporary relief of indigestion, bloating and gas, especially when related to meals.
How does it work?
Papain and fungal diastase are digestive enzymes that help break down proteins and carbohydrates. Simethicone helps combine gas bubbles, making trapped gas easier to pass.
How to take/use it
Dissolve the effervescent tablet in a glass of water and take it exactly as directed on the label or by a healthcare professional. Do not swallow it dry, and do not exceed the recommended amount.
Common side effects
Usually well tolerated. Some people may experience nausea, stomach discomfort, diarrhoea or constipation. Allergic reactions are uncommon but possible.
Precautions
