What is it used for?
Used to relieve pain, inflammation and muscle spasm associated with musculoskeletal conditions such as painful back, neck or joint problems.
How does it work?
Diclofenac reduces substances in the body that cause pain and inflammation. Eperisone helps relax tight muscles and reduce muscle spasm.
How to take/use it
Take only as prescribed. Swallow the sustained-release capsule whole with water; do not crush or chew it. Taking it with or after food may help reduce stomach irritation. Do not take additional diclofenac or other NSAID painkillers unless advised by a doctor.
Common side effects
Indigestion, stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, dizziness, drowsiness, weakness or headache.
Precautions
Avoid use or seek medical advice if there is a history of stomach ulcer or bleeding, kidney or liver disease, heart disease, high blood pressure, asthma triggered by painkillers, or an allergy to diclofenac or other NSAIDs. Do not use during pregnancy, especially from 20 weeks onward or in the last three months, unless specifically prescribed. Tell the doctor about blood thinners, steroids, other painkillers or medicines being taken. Stop and seek urgent medical help for black stools, vomiting blood, severe stomach pain, chest pain, breathing difficulty, facial swelling or a severe skin rash. Dizziness or drowsiness may affect driving or operating machinery.
