What is it used for?
Used to relieve pain and inflammation, especially pain related to joints, muscles and arthritis. It may also help reduce fever because it contains paracetamol.

How does it work?
Etoricoxib reduces the substances that cause pain and inflammation. Paracetamol helps reduce pain and fever.

How to take/use it
Take only as prescribed by the doctor. Swallow with water and do not take more than the recommended amount. Do not use other medicines containing paracetamol or additional painkillers such as ibuprofen or diclofenac unless advised by a doctor.

Common side effects
Indigestion, stomach pain, nausea, headache, dizziness, swelling of the feet or ankles, and increased blood pressure.

Precautions
Inform the doctor about high blood pressure, heart disease, previous stroke, stomach ulcer or bleeding, kidney or liver problems, or an allergy to painkillers. Avoid use during pregnancy unless specifically prescribed, and seek medical advice before use while breastfeeding. Avoid excessive alcohol and do not exceed the prescribed dose, as too much paracetamol can damage the liver. Seek urgent help for chest pain, breathing difficulty, black stools, severe rash, or yellowing of the skin or eyes.
