What is it used for?
Used to treat acid reflux (GERD), heartburn and indigestion, especially when symptoms are associated with delayed stomach emptying, bloating or nausea.

How does it work?
Esomeprazole reduces the amount of acid produced in the stomach. Levosulpride helps improve stomach movement and the passage of food, which may reduce reflux and digestive discomfort.

How to take/use it
Take only as prescribed. Swallow the enteric-coated sustained-release medicine whole with water; do not crush, chew or break it. Follow the prescribed timing in relation to meals and do not change the dose or duration without medical advice.

Common side effects
Headache, nausea, abdominal pain, bloating, diarrhoea or constipation, dizziness, drowsiness and restlessness. Increased breast fullness or milk production may occur due to levosulpride.

Precautions
Inform the doctor about pregnancy, breastfeeding, liver or kidney problems, a history of seizures, intestinal obstruction or bleeding, or hormone-related conditions. Levosulpride may cause drowsiness or dizziness; avoid driving if affected. Tell the doctor about all medicines being taken, especially sedatives, antipsychotics and medicines that affect heart rhythm. Seek medical advice for black stools, vomiting blood, severe abdominal pain or persistent symptoms.
