What is it used for?
Bacillus clausii spores suspension is a probiotic used to help restore the balance of healthy bacteria in the intestine, especially during or after diarrhoea or antibiotic treatment.
How does it work?
It contains spores of Bacillus clausii, which can survive in the intestine and help support the normal balance of intestinal microorganisms.
How to take/use it
Take by mouth exactly as directed on the product label or by a doctor or pharmacist. Do not inject it. Shake the suspension if instructed on the label, and use it only within the recommended storage and expiry period.
Common side effects
It is generally well tolerated. Mild gas, bloating or stomach discomfort may occasionally occur. Allergic reactions are rare.
Precautions
Do not use if allergic to Bacillus clausii or any ingredient in the product. Seek medical advice for severe or persistent diarrhoea, blood in the stool, fever or signs of dehydration. People with severely weakened immunity or serious illness should use it only on medical advice.
