Elcipro D Eye Drops (25X10Ml) Ciprofloxacin 0.3%, Dexamethasone 0.05% Eye/Ear Drops By Elder

What is it used for?
This medicine is used to treat certain bacterial infections of the eye or ear when there is also redness, swelling or inflammation. Use it only for the eye or ear condition for which it was prescribed.

How does it work?
Ciprofloxacin kills the bacteria causing the infection. Dexamethasone is a corticosteroid that reduces inflammation, redness and swelling.

How to take/use it
Use in the affected eye or ear exactly as prescribed. Wash hands before use and avoid touching the dropper tip to the eye, ear or any surface. Do not share the bottle. Use the drops only for the prescribed duration and do not use them by mouth.

Common side effects
Temporary stinging, burning, itching or irritation may occur after applying the drops. Temporary blurred vision may occur when used in the eye; ear discomfort or itching may occur when used in the ear.

Precautions
Do not use if allergic to ciprofloxacin, other quinolone antibiotics or corticosteroids. Do not use for untreated viral or fungal eye infections unless specifically advised by a doctor. Prolonged or repeated eye use may increase eye pressure, delay healing or cause another infection. Seek medical advice if symptoms worsen, do not improve, or severe pain, swelling, rash or vision changes occur.
