What is it used for?
This medicine is used for breathing problems with narrowed airways and thick mucus, such as in asthma, chronic bronchitis or other obstructive airway conditions. It helps relieve breathing difficulty and makes mucus easier to clear.

How does it work?
Doxofylline relaxes the muscles around the airways to help open them. Ambroxol thins and loosens mucus, making it easier to cough out.

How to take/use it
Take it only as prescribed by the doctor. Swallow the tablet whole with water and do not exceed the recommended dose. It is not a substitute for emergency treatment during a sudden severe breathing attack.

Common side effects
Nausea, vomiting, stomach discomfort, headache, dizziness, restlessness, difficulty sleeping, palpitations and skin rash may occur.

Precautions
Tell the doctor about heart disease or abnormal heart rhythms, high blood pressure, seizures, liver or kidney problems, stomach ulcers, pregnancy or breastfeeding before use. Seek medical help for severe palpitations, worsening breathing difficulty or an allergic reaction. Avoid taking other medicines for breathing problems unless advised by a doctor.
