What is it used for?
This medicine is used for short-term relief of migraine headaches, especially when the migraine is accompanied by nausea or vomiting.

How does it work?
Naproxen reduces the substances that cause pain and inflammation. Domperidone helps control nausea and vomiting and supports movement of the stomach.

How to take/use it
Take it only as prescribed by a doctor. Swallow with water, preferably with or after food to reduce stomach irritation. Do not take more or use it for longer than recommended. Avoid taking other naproxen or NSAID painkillers unless advised by a doctor.

Common side effects
Indigestion, stomach pain, heartburn, nausea, diarrhoea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth or stomach cramps may occur.

Precautions
Tell the doctor if there is a history of stomach ulcer or bleeding, kidney or liver disease, heart disease, high blood pressure, asthma triggered by painkillers, or an irregular heartbeat. Domperidone may affect heart rhythm and may interact with some medicines. Naproxen can increase the risk of stomach bleeding, kidney problems and cardiovascular events, particularly with prolonged use. Avoid during pregnancy unless specifically prescribed, especially in the later months. Seek urgent medical help for black stools, vomiting blood, chest pain, breathing difficulty, facial swelling or fainting.
