Dikart 5 Lotion (35ml) Ketoconazole + IDHQ + Neomycin + Tolnaftate + Clobetasole Lotion by Csc

What is it used for?
This lotion is used for certain fungal skin infections, especially when there is associated bacterial infection and significant redness, itching or inflammation. It should be used only when prescribed, as it contains a strong corticosteroid.

How does it work?
Ketoconazole and tolnaftate act against fungi, while neomycin acts against certain bacteria. Clobetasol reduces redness, swelling and itching caused by inflammation.

How to take/use it
For external use only. Apply a thin layer to the affected skin exactly as prescribed. Clean and dry the area first, and wash hands before and after application unless the hands are being treated. Do not use it more often or for longer than advised.

Common side effects
Mild burning, stinging, itching, irritation, dryness or redness may occur. Prolonged or improper use may cause skin thinning, stretch marks, colour changes or worsening of the infection. Neomycin may cause an allergic skin reaction.

Precautions
Avoid contact with the eyes, mouth and other mucous membranes. Do not apply to the face, groin, skin folds, broken skin or large areas unless specifically advised by a doctor. Avoid covering the treated area with tight or airtight dressings unless instructed. Do not use for an undiagnosed rash or suspected viral skin infection, and seek medical advice if the condition worsens or does not improve.
