What is it used for?
Diclofenac sodium 50 mg + paracetamol 325 mg is used for the short-term relief of moderate pain, swelling and inflammation, especially in muscle, joint and arthritis-related conditions.

How does it work?
Diclofenac reduces the substances that cause pain and inflammation. Paracetamol helps reduce pain and fever through a different mechanism.

How to take/use it
Take it only as prescribed by a doctor. Swallow the tablet with water, preferably with or after food. Do not take more than the prescribed amount, and do not use it with other medicines containing diclofenac, other NSAIDs, or paracetamol unless advised by a healthcare professional.

Common side effects
Indigestion, nausea, stomach pain, diarrhoea, dizziness and headache may occur.

Precautions
Avoid this medicine if allergic to diclofenac, paracetamol or other NSAIDs. Tell the doctor if there is a history of stomach ulcer or bleeding, liver or kidney disease, heart disease, high blood pressure, or asthma triggered by painkillers. Avoid excess alcohol. It may not be suitable during pregnancy, especially the third trimester. Seek urgent medical help for black stools, vomiting blood, severe skin reactions, breathing difficulty or swelling of the face or throat.
