What is it used for?
Used for temporary relief of pain and inflammation in muscles and joints, including pain from sprains, strains and arthritis.

How does it work?
Diclofenac reduces the substances that cause pain and inflammation. Menthol and methyl salicylate provide a cooling or warming sensation that may help relieve discomfort.

How to take/use it
For external use only. Apply a thin layer to the painful area and gently rub in, following the product label or a healthcare professional’s advice. Wash hands after use. Do not apply to cuts, wounds, irritated skin or near the eyes, and do not cover with a tight bandage or apply heat unless advised.

Common side effects
Mild skin irritation, redness, itching, dryness or a burning sensation at the application site. Stop use if a severe rash or swelling develops.

Precautions
Avoid use if allergic to diclofenac, aspirin, other painkillers such as ibuprofen, or any ingredient in the gel. Do not use on broken skin or with other diclofenac or NSAID products unless advised by a healthcare professional. Ask a doctor before use during pregnancy, especially in the last 3 months, or if there is a history of stomach ulcers, kidney disease, asthma triggered by painkillers, or severe skin sensitivity. Keep away from children and avoid swallowing.
