What is it used for?
This gel is used for temporary relief of pain and inflammation in muscles and joints, such as sprains, strains and arthritis-related pain.

How does it work?
Diclofenac reduces the substances that cause pain and inflammation. Methyl salicylate and capsaicin provide a local warming or cooling sensation that may help reduce the feeling of pain.

How to take/use it
Apply a thin layer to the painful area and gently rub in, as directed on the product label or by a healthcare professional. For external use only. Wash hands after applying, unless the hands are being treated. Do not apply to broken, infected or irritated skin, or cover tightly with a bandage.

Common side effects
Burning, warmth, stinging, redness, itching, dryness or skin irritation at the application site. Capsaicin may cause temporary burning.

Precautions
Avoid contact with the eyes, mouth and other sensitive areas. Do not use if allergic to diclofenac, aspirin, other painkillers of the NSAID type, or any ingredient in the gel. Avoid heating pads and direct heat over the treated area. Stop use and seek medical advice if severe skin irritation, swelling, breathing difficulty or an allergic reaction occurs. Ask a healthcare professional before use during pregnancy, particularly in the last three months, or while breastfeeding.
