What is it used for?
Used for temporary relief of dry cough, blocked nose, runny nose and sneezing associated with the common cold or allergies.

How does it work?
Dextromethorphan suppresses the cough reflex. Chlorpheniramine reduces allergy symptoms, while phenylephrine helps relieve nasal congestion.

How to take/use it
Use only as directed on the package or by a doctor. Do not take more than the recommended amount or combine it with other cough, cold or allergy medicines containing similar ingredients.

Common side effects
Sleepiness, dizziness, dry mouth, blurred vision, nausea and nervousness may occur.

Precautions
Avoid alcohol and activities requiring alertness if drowsiness or dizziness occurs. Consult a doctor before use if there is high blood pressure, heart disease, glaucoma, thyroid disease, prostate or urinary problems. Do not use with monoamine oxidase inhibitors, and seek medical advice before combining with antidepressants or other medicines. Ask a doctor before use during pregnancy, breastfeeding or in children. Seek medical advice if the cough lasts, worsens or is accompanied by breathing difficulty or high fever.
