What is it used for?
Used for temporary relief of dry cough along with cold- or allergy-related symptoms such as a runny nose and sneezing.

How does it work?
Dextromethorphan reduces the cough reflex. Chlorpheniramine is an antihistamine that helps relieve allergy symptoms such as sneezing and a runny nose.

How to take/use it
Take only as directed on the product label or by a doctor. Shake the bottle well and measure the syrup with the provided measuring device. Do not take more than recommended or use it with other medicines containing dextromethorphan or chlorpheniramine.

Common side effects
Drowsiness, dizziness, dry mouth, blurred vision, nausea and stomach upset.

Precautions
May cause drowsiness; avoid driving and alcohol until its effects are known. Ask a doctor before use in children, during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or with glaucoma, breathing problems, difficulty passing urine, or liver disease. Do not use with monoamine oxidase inhibitor medicines or within 14 days of stopping them. Seek medical advice if the cough lasts several days, worsens, or is accompanied by breathing difficulty or high fever.
