What is it used for?
Clotrimazole 1% dusting powder is used to treat fungal infections of the skin, such as athlete’s foot, ringworm and fungal rashes in skin folds.

How does it work?
It stops fungi from making an essential part of their cell membrane, which helps clear the infection.

How to take/use it
Apply the powder to clean, completely dry affected skin and nearby areas as directed on the product label or by a healthcare professional. For external use only. Wash hands before and after use, unless the hands are being treated.

Common side effects
Mild skin irritation, burning, stinging, redness, itching or rash may occur where it is applied.

Precautions
Avoid contact with the eyes, mouth and other mucous membranes. Do not inhale the powder. Stop use and seek medical help if severe irritation, swelling, breathing difficulty or other signs of an allergic reaction occur. Seek medical advice if the infection worsens or does not improve.
