What is it used for?
Used on the skin to treat acne, including pimples and inflamed acne lesions.
How does it work?
Clindamycin helps reduce acne-causing bacteria and inflammation. Niacinamide may help reduce skin inflammation and excess oil.
How to take/use it
For external use only. Apply a thin layer to clean, dry acne-affected skin exactly as directed by the doctor or product instructions. Avoid contact with the eyes, mouth and inside of the nose. Wash hands after applying.
Common side effects
Dryness, redness, peeling, irritation, burning or itching at the application site.
Precautions
Do not apply to broken or severely irritated skin. Stop use and seek medical advice if severe or persistent skin irritation develops. Although uncommon with topical clindamycin, contact a doctor if significant or persistent diarrhoea or abdominal cramps occur. Keep out of reach of children.
