What is it used for?
Used to relieve cough with mucus and breathing difficulty, wheezing or chest tightness caused by narrowed airways in respiratory conditions.
How does it work?
Levosalbutamol relaxes the airway muscles to improve breathing. Ambroxol loosens mucus, while guaifenesin helps thin and clear phlegm.
How to take/use it
Take or use only as directed by the doctor or product label. Do not exceed the recommended amount or use it for longer than advised.
Common side effects
Nausea, vomiting, stomach upset, diarrhoea, headache, tremor, nervousness, fast heartbeat or palpitations.
Precautions
Use with medical advice if there is heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, overactive thyroid, glaucoma or a history of seizures. Tell the doctor about pregnancy or breastfeeding. Seek medical help if breathing difficulty worsens, or if severe palpitations, chest pain or an allergic reaction occurs.
