What is it used for?
Used to relieve productive (phlegmy) cough and chest congestion by loosening mucus. The levosalbutamol component may also help ease wheezing or breathing difficulty caused by narrowed airways.

How does it work?
Levosalbutamol relaxes the muscles around the airways. Ambroxol and guaifenesin help thin and loosen mucus, making it easier to clear.

How to take/use it
Take or use exactly as prescribed by the doctor. Follow the instructions on the product label, and do not take more or use it more often than recommended. Use an appropriate measuring device for liquid formulations.

Common side effects
Nausea, vomiting, stomach upset, diarrhoea, headache, shakiness or tremor, nervousness, and fast heartbeat or palpitations.

Precautions
Use only under medical advice if there is heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, an overactive thyroid, kidney or liver disease, or a history of seizures. Consult a doctor during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Seek medical help for severe breathing difficulty, chest pain, a very fast or irregular heartbeat, or a rash or swelling. If the cough persists or worsens, medical evaluation is needed.
