What is it used for?
Deflazacort is a corticosteroid used to reduce inflammation and control overactive immune reactions in conditions such as certain autoimmune, allergic and inflammatory disorders. It should be used only for the condition prescribed by the doctor.

How does it work?
It reduces the release of substances that cause inflammation and lowers excessive immune-system activity.

How to take/use it
Take the prescribed amount exactly as directed by the doctor. Shake the suspension well before use and measure it with an accurate measuring device. Do not stop treatment suddenly, especially after prolonged use, unless advised by the doctor.

Common side effects
Increased appetite, indigestion, weight gain, mood changes, difficulty sleeping, raised blood sugar and increased blood pressure may occur. Long-term use can increase the risk of infections.

Precautions
