Composition:
Dapagliflozin 10 mg + Metformin Hydrochloride 1000 mg per tablet.

Uses:
Used to improve blood sugar control in adults with type 2 diabetes, along with a healthy diet and regular physical activity. It may also provide benefits for certain patients with heart failure or chronic kidney disease, as prescribed by a doctor.

How to Use:
Take only as prescribed by your doctor. Take the tablet with or after food to reduce stomach upset. Swallow it whole with water, preferably at the same time each day. Maintain adequate fluid intake unless your doctor advises otherwise. Do not stop treatment or change the dose without medical advice.

Precautions & Warnings:
Inform your doctor if you have kidney or liver disease, low blood pressure, dehydration, heart problems, or recurrent urinary or genital infections. Dapagliflozin may cause dehydration, low blood pressure, and genital or urinary infections. Metformin may rarely cause lactic acidosis, particularly in people with significant kidney impairment. Inform your doctor before major surgery, prolonged fasting, or an X-ray or CT scan involving iodinated contrast, as temporary interruption may be required.

Possible Side Effects:
Common side effects may include increased urination, thirst, genital yeast infections, urinary tract infections, nausea, diarrhoea, stomach discomfort, and dizziness. Seek immediate medical attention for severe weakness, persistent vomiting, abdominal pain, difficulty breathing, confusion, or other symptoms that may indicate diabetic ketoacidosis or lactic acidosis.

Pregnancy & Breastfeeding:
This combination is generally not recommended during pregnancy. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant, planning pregnancy, or breastfeeding. Your doctor may recommend an alternative treatment.

Storage:
Store at room temperature in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of reach and sight of children. Do not use after the expiry date.

Important Safety Information:
Take this medicine exactly as prescribed and follow your recommended diet and exercise plan. Maintain adequate hydration while taking dapagliflozin. The risk of low blood sugar is generally low when used alone but may increase when combined with insulin or certain other diabetes medicines. Do not use this medicine to treat diabetic ketoacidosis. Regular monitoring of blood sugar and kidney function may be recommended.
